Spring Walks & Coffee Shops

This morning I woke up and the sun was shining in through my bedroom window (which is rare in March in the UK) and I thought it seemed a lovely day for a spring walk in the sunshine and to get some much needed fresh air.

I always aim to go on a walk for at least 1 hour a day as I think it helps me to refresh my mind and clear my head and it always gets me in a positive, good mood for the rest of my day. It helps when the sun is shining with that fresh crisp air, it just makes everything seem a little brighter. Now we are getting much sunnier days it means I feel much more like going out on a nice walk rather than staying in on the sofa (sometimes still happens though)

On our walk we went through Lyde Green and we saw some pretty pink blossom trees which always make me happy because it means spring is just around the corner! (the pastel pink definitely fitting with my aesthetic), so naturally I had to snap a few pics.

Lyde Green is still a fairly new built area so we decided to have a wander around with no particular destination in mind, so we just strolled around and took some pictures. Then we came across a coffee shop called 'Coffee At Lyde' and both of us having zero caffeine jumped at the chance of getting a coffee. So when I say coffee I actually mean a chai latte for myself as I absolutely hate the taste of coffee and Josh got the frappe latte, Coffee At Lyde was new to us and sometimes I can find trying new places to go for drinks or food quite challenging but it was lovely. The girl who served us was really nice and had reasonable prices for two coffees. I also really liked the simple vibe of the coffee shop and it was the perfect spot to sit, drink coffee and talk about random things.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post and it gave you some inspiration to visit a new coffee shop! I can't wait to be taking longer walks and trying new places when the days get a little brighter and warmer, spring is definitely my type of weather..
