Nando's Date & Crazy Golf

Whenever me and Josh get a day off together we try to make the most out of it as we don't get to see each other all that often so on this day we decided to head into town to play some crazy golf and get some lunch together.

Our favourite place for lunch is always a Nando's, we went for food first as we were starving! We pretty much order the same thing every time. I go for a halloumi and chilli jam starter and yes, this is literally the whole reason why we come to Nando's it's definitely the best bit! And then I'll usually go for a side of chips and a corn on the cob and sometimes if I'm feeling extra hungry even some creamy mash (their creamy mash is so good I definitely recommend) and Josh usually goes for chips and sometimes he will go for the beanie wrap (which is bloody delicious too) and sometimes some sweet potato wedges and finally for drinks we just go for plain old water (I know you're thinking boring right? We both don't really drink fizzy or alcoholic drinks so we just stick with water)

The Crazy Golf place that we went to is called Jungle Rumble in Bristol City Centre, it was pretty much right next to Nando's and it's the first time I've ever been but Josh has been before. It was £8.50 per person which I don't think is too bad for how long the game actually lasted us - it probably averaged at 45 minutes. Honestly I didn't think Crazy Golf would be as much fun as it actually is, I thought it was mostly for kids and would be kind of boring but I actually got really into it and enjoyed myself. The time went so quickly but it also felt worth the money. If you're ever stuck on what to do on a rainy day this is such a good idea and reasonably cheap! This along with some food before or afterwards makes for a really cute date idea.

I hope you enjoyed finding out a little more on what I like to do with my days off, this isn't how I'll spend every day off (obviously) but this is just how we spent this particular day.

If you've never done crazy golf before I would definitely recommend it, whether you're having a day out with the girls or going on a date this would be the perfect day out/ice-breaker!

  4. I absolutely LOVE halloumi, it's a must when I go to Nando's. Their veggie stuff is so underrated as well, love a good veggie burger from there. The chilli jam is amazing as well. Crazy golf is so fun, we have a place in Birmingham that I love going to but there's a place called Ghetto Golf as well that I still need to try - it's basically crazy golf and a bar combined. Cute post!

    1. It’s for sure my favourite! It is, I’m vegetarian so a lot of people ask why I go to Nando’s as it’s ‘chicken’ but they actually do so much vegetarian foods 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ll definitely be doing crazy golf again it was so much fun.. The ghetto golf sounds great too! X
