What's In My Handbag?

The handbag I use every day is a Carvela black handbag (bag shown above). I currently have 3 Carvela bags, the one I just mentioned I use more than the others but it’s perfect for every day use. The reason why I love Carvela bags so much are because of

1. The price, you can’t go wrong as it literally feels and looks like a designer bag and they are usually on sale for a ridiculous price, I got my black one for £49 in the sale from £89!

2. The style, I just absolutely love the simplicity and designer look on these bags, they go with any outfit and can really dress up an outfit.

3. How long-lasting, one of my Carvela bags is at least 2-3 years old and still looks brand new! I can’t fault it at all especially for the price!

So moving onto what I actually keep in my handbag every day, I'm a girl who carries her life around in her bag and take it wherever I go so I needed a reasonable size bag which is why I went for this black one, it ticked all the boxes it had enough space for everything, goes with every outfit and can use as a cross body bag.

1. An umbrella - Vital when you live in England, even in July you never know when it's going to rain!

2. My purse - I have two purses that I use with this bag, however I usually reach for this baby pink purse just because I have so many different cards and they all fit perfectly into this purse and it doesn't take up much room in my bag

3. Hand Sanitiser & Wet Wipes - I never go anywhere without at least one of these two in my bag, so handy if you're eating outside somewhere and don't have access to a sink or you get sticky Nando's chilli jam hands (guilty) then you're all sorted!

4. Tangle Teezer - I carry this with me as my hair gets knotted and tangles very easily, so it's an easy little travel style hairbrush that I can easily whip out and brush my hair with on the go to keep my hair looking its most sleek and knot free!

5. Keys for work - Working as a supervisor for a retail store I carry my own set of keys so I like to always keep them in my bag as I work 5 days out of 7 I need them almost every day so they just stay at the bottom of my bag

6. Make up and other bits (misc) - I'll always take a powder and my lipstick with me wherever I go as I like to reapply my powder if it's a particularly warm day and my lipstick incase it comes off if I decide to eat out anywhere. Then I have my earphones for travelling, I'll usually take a book as you'll see in the picture but if the transport is too loud to read on or I feel like a change I'll watch something on Netflix or listen to some music on my travels! Then there are just the few extras I always take such as a packet of chewing gum. some paracetmol/anadin just incase I get an awful headache and my bloating tablets are essential to have with me incase my stomach decides to play up whilst I'm out, the tablets are are amazing for the agony I usually have to deal with when bloating, I'm always stocking up so I suggest adding these to your handbag if your bloating is as horrendous as mine! (if you want me to do a more in depth post all about my bloating and the causes and symptoms ect let me know in the comments as I would love to if it will help some of you)

7. My Phone - last but not least, I carry my phone everywhere with me as I'm sure most people do by now, I use my bus ticket app on my phone so it always comes with me and I try to keep a spare charger in my bag just incase I forget to charge it before I leave the house! For those who might be wondering I have a iPhone 8 plus in Gold and it's glass back so looks absolutely stunning however I needed a case as I was scared to touch it, so I got this beautiful case from H&M and it was only £6.99! Bargain! (if anyone wants me to do a what's on my iPhone, let me know and I will defo be happy to!)

I hope you enjoyed getting a peak at what's in my handbag and what I take on the go every day with me, I would love to know if there's something you always take and have to have in your handbag when you leave the house...

  1. I always have a brush in mine as well! I work near the water so it’s always SO windy so I need a brush when I get to work. Plus sanitizer is a must!
